A major car manufacturer wanted to celebrate Christmas with its workforce
 
Situation: A major Japanese car manufacturer wanted 5,000 Christmas gifts for their workforce based in two sites in the East Midlands.
 
We suggested: boxes of chocolates branded with their logo and personalised with "Merry Xmas from xxxxx". With just a three-day turn-around, we produced sample boxes of 335g Classics, encased in 'sleeves' branded with the company's logo and message which we then presented to the board.
 
Outcome: The directors were truly surprised by the way in which the chocolates were presented, but the other key advantages they considered whilst making their decision were:

  • our ability to fulfil such a large order in such a short space of time
  • our ability to deliver such large quantities over two sites in the UK
  • our policy on using recycled packaging
  • our brand being recognised as synonymous with quality - a brand association they were keen to exploit
  • value for money - we delivered their chocolates well within budget

    We successfully delivered all 5,000 branded chocolate boxes to them at the time they specified and...

  • the workforce loved the chocolates and the sentiment behind them
  • the directors were happy that they conveyed their message in such an eye-catching fashion
  • HR was pleased as it was all done with minimal fuss and inconvenience
