All Thorntons franchises are part of a bigger
offer, such as a card and gift shop, café/coffee shop, gift shop,
Post Office or another complimentary offer.
We are looking for people who already operate a retail outlet or
who are in the process of setting themselves up as a
retailer.
The business should be compatible with the Thorntons brand, image
and values.
The total sales area needs to be a minimum of 1000 sq ft. However,
we prefer to develop in sites of 1,200 sq ft or more with Thorntons
requiring around 350 sq ft.
Space to Thorntons will allow for:
seven (preferably eight) selling bays
a servery for the sale of loose chocolates
a counter area
a window display
selling Ice Cream in the Summer season
Also:
a chilled storage area of at least 65-70 sq ft however,we may
insist on a bigger storage area depending on sales
expectations.
