packing, distribution and warehouse operations onto the Thornton
Park site.

Ordering and Distribution
Thorntons distribute centrally to the retail estate from their
Thornton Park warehouse.
Orders are received via telephone, processed, picked, dispatched
and delivered usually within two working days for all mainland
deliveries.
Additional contract distribution supports the more remote
locations.
A fixed delivery schedule allows the franchisee to order and
receive deliveries on a pre-determined day.
Orders are palletized and transported on temperature controlled
vehicles to maintain quality.
Seasonal volume fluctuations are accommodated by flexing the
schedule, allowing us to maintain all year round delivery standards
to the customer.
