Special Toffee
Stanley Thornton began developing
Thorntons unique Special Toffee recipe in 1921, it wasn't until
1925 that he perfected it and it appeared in Thorntons shops.
It is still cooked using traditional copper pans then poured into
trays and only the purest ingredients are used. Research tells us
our customers believe we make the "best toffee in the world".
