people of all ages with diabetes.
Our recipes are carefully put together - the centres and chocolate
are specially formulated for people with diabetes. All products
have a 50% reduction in sugars compared to standard Thorntons
products. We use alternative sweeteners such as Maltitol which
comes from starch and does not cause rapid increase in blood sugar
levels. It is suitable for both vegetarians & those who avoid
alcohol.
As with all other Thorntons products only the best ingredients are
used. Some diabetic chocolates have a white chocolate or candy
coloured strickle mark. This is produced from non-diabetic
chocolate and will contain sugar.
